We regret to inform the fellowship that the ColorDaze event that was to be held September 18-20th at the Garfield County Fairgrounds has been CANCELLED.

The Executive Committee who are stewards of Central Office finances and day-to-day operations unanimously voted to cancel the event due to lack of event planning and registrations for the event. Only 4 ColorDaze Committee meetings have been held to date with only 1 meeting conducted in the month of August.

Only 65 registrations were processed through August 31st compared to 117 total registrations last year, meaning the event would be held at a loss. Central Office is not in a financial position to take a loss on the event. The event is a fundraiser for Central Office typically generating $7,000 in donations each year. Those donations will sorely be missed as we typically count on those donations to keep Central Office finances in the black the later part of the year.

Rather than put on a mediocre event due to poor planning and attendance, Central Office remains committed to putting together an event in 2027 worthy for you to attend.

2. Request a refund
3. Contribute amount paid to Central Office
