Why We Pay to Attend ColorDaze

There are many Conventions held around the world. One of the most common misconceptions is that they are AA meetings, and since There are no dues or fees for AA membership… there should be no fees to attend. Conventions are special events, not regular meetings. They require months of planning, preparation and financial obligations.

ColorDaze is an annual fundraiser for the Central Office of Western Colorado. All of our expenses are paid through the registration fees. The registration fees are used to pay for the Speaker’s airline tickets, hotel rooms and for the meeting spaces.

All excess funds are contributed to Central Office.
